Hello!
My name is Máire Costello and I have been the PYP Art Teacher at SEK Qatar for almost four years.
I come from Dublin, Ireland where I began my career in Art Education. I worked as an Art Educator in secondary schools and special education settings, before embracing my path as a primary school Art Specialist. I am passionate about the role of the arts in education and I hope I can use this passion to present the students of SEK Qatar with engaging and creative learning experiences.
As always, the art room will remain a space for skill development, self-expression and creativity where students will have many opportunities to create artwork in response to their inquiries.
